120.5 million euros for the development of tourism infrastructure in the regions

The government will spend an additional 120.5 million euros on the development of tourism infrastructure in the regions. This was reported by Gevorg Papoyan, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the Minister, the goal of the program is to improve the availability of climate-resilient infrastructure in Armenia's regions by developing tourism clusters and increasing investment in tourism in local economies.

The program aims to develop seven tourism clusters (Goris, Areni, Jermuk, Yeghegis, Dvin, Gyumri, Dilijan), promoting wine, resort, adventure, cultural, educational, and ecotourism.
