German Embassy regarding Schengen visa applications

The German Embassy in Armenia reports:

“From July 1, 2025, we are offering an improved application service to all citizens who need a Schengen visa for travel to Armenia through TLS Contact. Thus, from July 1, 2025, the procedure for appearing in person at the German Embassy for an interview will be discontinued. Instead, you can submit your applications in a modern center that is also adapted for people with disabilities. The center’s employees will be happy to wait for your visit.

Below is a summary of the most essential information:

TLS Contact is the only agency in Armenia that accepts visa applications on a special order. TLS Contact also accepts Schengen visa applications for travel to Sweden, Belgium, or Luxembourg

The Embassy and TLS Contact do not cooperate with any travel agencies in Armenia.

TLS Contact is responsible for accepting applications and accompanying documents, which it transmits to the embassy. The decision to issue a visa, as before, is made solely by the Embassy, guided by the standard European regulations, the Visa Code, and the “Agreement on the Facilitation of the Issuance of Visas” with Armenia. You will receive your passport back from TLS Contact.

If you are already on the Embassy’s Schengen visa waiting list, you do not need to take any action, as TLS Contact will contact you.

These changes do not apply to National visas issued for long-term stays, such as studying in Germany or for family reunification. National visa applications will continue to be accepted by the German Embassy.
