The press secretary of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ani Badalyan, commented in response to media inquiries:
The RA embassies in Iran and Israel continue to be in constant contact with the RA citizens in those countries.
Since June 13, 15 RA citizens have applied to the RA Embassy in Israel, which has provided the requested information. In total, two dozen RA citizens have been evacuated from Israel, including a group of tourists in Bethlehem who were evacuated to Egypt.
About three dozen RA citizens have applied to the RA Embassy in Iran, mainly regarding issues related to the evacuation of RA. The embassy has provided relevant information and assistance depending on the situation and need.
Starting from June 13, 2025, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also received applications from foreign citizens for evacuation from Iran through the territory of RA. This applies to both members of the diplomatic staff of foreign states operating in the Islamic Republic of Iran and their family members and other citizens. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has urgently provided the necessary assistance, including in matters of visa issuance if required.
Thus, you are probably already aware of the evacuation of Indian students, which was carried out by the agreement of the two foreign ministers. Citizens of Kazakhstan, France, Germany, Spain, Cyprus, Austria, Norway, Switzerland, Georgia, Zimbabwe, Niger, and Sierra Leone also received a quick response and some assistance in the evacuation issue.
Citizens of other countries have also been evacuated across the border of the Republic of Armenia, including the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Russia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland,
Australia, Lebanon, etc. There are also requests for assistance from other countries.
The work continues, including in cooperation with other relevant departments of the Republic of Armenia and international organizations.
