Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited the Mother Church of the Holy Mother of God Patriarchal Church in Istanbul as part of his working visit.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Chairman of the Church Council, Hrant Maskafyan, the Second Chairman, Minas Arslan, and Clothia Temir, the Director of the Armenian School attached to the church. Prime Minister Pashinyan toured the church, lit candles, and became acquainted with the conditions of community life.
During the visit, the Prime Minister also visited a preschool and an Armenian school, getting acquainted with educational programs and community initiatives on site. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan laid flowers in front of the Komitas monument.
