Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Alexander Timani, the newly appointed head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Armenia.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of cooperation with the IMF, emphasizing the importance of the measures included in the current 3-year Standby Program within the framework of the reforms implemented by the government.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the capital market, cash reduction, e-commerce, and digitalization. They exchanged views on possible reforms aimed at improving the country's investment climate, including the introduction of quality standards.
