"The situation on the border is relatively stable." Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Edward Asryan referred to the border shooting, noting that the situation is relatively stable: “Yes, shots were fired, are being fired, but they are not targeted. Our official news feed reports on the shots that are targeted.”

According to Asryan, the Azerbaijani side argues that they are not firing the shots. “But they are. And the shooting side will know the goals. In our assessment, the goal is to put pressure on the service members and the border population. But the fact is that we ignore it; we continue our normal service.”

By saying “not paying attention,” he clarified that the Armed Forces continue to fulfill the tasks set before them.
