The RA Foreign Ministry reports that the Armenia-France decentralized cooperation conference will be held on June 2-3 at the V. Vagharshyan State Drama Theater in Goris.
The city of Goris was chosen as the venue for the 5th conference, taking into account Syunik's strategic importance and the comprehensive and exemplary cooperation between the Syunik region and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France.
The conference program includes a live broadcast of the plenary session, four panel discussions, and a closing ceremony.
Among the guests arriving in Armenia from France to participate in the conference are mayors, regional delegations, parliamentarians, including
Laurent Vauquien and Gilbert-Luc Dévinaz, Chairmen of the Armenia-France Friendship Groups of the French National Assembly and Senate, and Fabrice Pancouk, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France.
The Armenian side will be represented by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports, and the Ministry of Labor, representatives of the Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs, Yerevan Municipality, and other regional and city guests.
