18 years ago, Yerevan and Nice were declared sister cities thanks to an agreement signed. After more than a decade of lack of tangible cooperation, in 2023, the visit of a delegation led by the First Deputy Mayor of Nice to Armenia was marked by the signing of a framework agreement on international cooperation in the field of healthcare with the Yerevan Municipality, within the framework of which doctors from Yerevan medical institutions left for Nice on a training program.
The Yerevan Municipality reports that another group of doctors has already arrived in Nice this year. The program is ongoing.
