A group of activists organized a protest action in front of the RA Foreign Ministry today against Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's visit to Armenia.
Arman Babajanyan, leader of the "For the Republic" party, Tigran Khzmalyan, chairman of the European Party, and others are standing in front of the building with posters with the inscription "Murderers" on the pictures of Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin.
The police urged them to leave that area and continue the action on the opposite sidewalk. However, Arman Babajanyan disagreed, accusing the police of obstructing them with instructions from the Russian Federation.
"It is not in your interests to obstruct us. You received an order from Russia to obstruct us," Babajanyan said, noting that such actions give their action more resonance.
