Within the framework of his official visit to Kazakhstan, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, visited the “Algiers” Memorial Complex for the Victims of Political Repression and Totalitarianism, where he paid his respects to the memory of women exiled to camps during the repressions of 1930-1950.
According to the museum, about 80 Armenian women were among those imprisoned. Alen Simonyan also laid flowers at the monument to commemorate the memory of Armenian women. Alen Simonyan made a note in the museum’s guest book of honor.
