Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan received Alessandro Ferranti, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to the Republic of Armenia.
The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the post. Srbuhi Galyan presented the Ministry of Justice's reforms in the constitutional, judicial, anti-corruption, human rights, penitentiary, and probation sectors.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that they are ready to discuss possible options for cooperation in the areas mentioned above.
Both sides emphasized the importance of digitalizing the justice sector, which is currently one of the Ministry's priorities. The parties also discussed the possibility of cooperating with the EU in the field of visa liberalization.
