On April 8 of this year, at 00:35 local time (April 7, at 20:35 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia recorded an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 with a depth of 10 km at the geographic coordinates of 40.13⁰ north latitude and 46.56⁰ east longitude, in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The earthquake's intensity in the epicenter zone was 4-5 points.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Vardenis, Gegharkunik region, as well as in the villages of Sotk and Kut, with a magnitude of 2-3 points.
