The Ombudsman Anahit Manasyan's working visit to Geneva continues. Manasyan met with Lucy McKernan, the Deputy Director for UN Affairs at Human Rights Watch in Geneva. They discussed several issues related to the protection of human rights.
"I also touched upon the problematic nature of the processes carried out against ethnic Armenians arbitrarily detained in Azerbaijan from a human rights perspective and the importance of their immediate release.
The note states, " Among other things, we discussed issues related to the possibilities of expanding cooperation in protecting and promoting human rights. "
