Calculations predict that the plasma cloud's arrival into the Earth's orbit, associated with the expected deterioration of the geomagnetic situation, will occur at approximately 04:00 in the morning Yerevan time. Levon Azizyan, Director of the Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring SNCO, wrote this.
The total duration of this geomagnetic tension will be more than 30 hours. The strongest magnetic storms are expected from 04:00 to 16:00 Yerevan time, with a maximum of 09:00 in the morning. At the moment, the most likely level of the storm is considered G3 (strong). The probability of reaching a higher G4 level is about 10%.
Against the background of the initial storms, a decrease in the aurora zone to 50-55 degrees latitude, even lower than Moscow, is possible.
What symptoms do people experience during magnetic storms?
Magnetic storms can affect people sensitive to weather, the elderly, the chronically ill, and pregnant women. Although the symptoms of a magnetic storm can vary greatly, the most common are headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, pain in the joints and muscles, fever, high blood pressure, and insomnia.
Serious illnesses are rare on such days, and for most people, the storms pass without serious health consequences.
