The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has again spread disinformation, the RA Defense Ministry informs.
“The statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry that on March 18, between 16:40 and 18:30, the RA Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the border zone does not correspond to reality.
It should be recalled that the Staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia proposed to create a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism for investigating cases of ceasefire violations and/or information about them, to which Azerbaijan has not responded.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reaffirms that, by the position of the Prime Minister's Staff, it is ready to investigate the facts substantiating the statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry in case they are transferred to the RA.
At the moment, the Republic of Azerbaijan has not transferred any factual data or justification of the ceasefire violations by the RA Armed Forces to the Republic of Armenia,” the statement says.
