The statement of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense does not correspond to reality
The statement of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense that allegedly, from 22:15 on March 17 to 00:20 on March 18, units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern sectors of the border zone does not correspond to reality.
It should be recalled that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia staff proposed to create a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism for investigating cases of ceasefire violations and/or information about them, to which Azerbaijan has not responded to date.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reaffirms that, in accordance with the position of the Prime Minister's staff, it is ready to investigate the facts substantiating the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's statement, provided that they are transferred to the Republic of Armenia.
