"There is a false impression that the EAEU standards are lower than those of the EU." Papoyan

"There is a misconception that the EAEU standards are lower than the EU standards, but this is not the case," stated Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan.

He noted that the EAEU has high, complex, routine, and logical standards. This was done to ensure the competitiveness of the economies of the EAEU countries. "I want to note with pleasure that we have passed certain historical stages," he said.

According to Papoyan, the EU and EAEU markets are very tangible. "The EAEU market, with its financial, economic, and physical volumes, is a huge and important market for Armenia and the EU. I would not make a difference there."

Papoyan also emphasized the importance of economic diversification: "If we export a product only to France, I aim to export it to Russia, China, and the Emirates. If we export a product only to Russia, I also aim to export it to France, the Emirates, etc.
