The work carried out to control the state border of the Republic of Armenia was discussed.

SRC Chairman Eduard Hakobyan visited the customs control zones of Gyumri and Vanadzor, as well as the Bagratashen and Ayrum checkpoints, to monitor the organization of the customs service's work processes on site.

The infrastructure of the customs checkpoints, procedures, the sequence of their application and organization, and the electronic systems in operation were presented. The work carried out in the direction of customs service and control at the land crossing points of the state border of Armenia, the progress of construction, and current issues were discussed.

The SRC also visited the taxpayer service centers of Gyumri and Vanadzor. It presented the process of adequately implementing the subdivision's functions and discussed ways to expand and improve the toolkit to support citizens and business entities in the current tax reforms.

During the visits, the conditions created for serving citizens and those conducting foreign economic activities were observed, emphasizing the proper organization of all stages of the processes.

The SRC Chairman emphasized the importance of the work being carried out to facilitate trade, digitize SRC systems, modernize infrastructure, and improve the quality of service to taxpayers.

At the same time, referring to the recent SRC reforms and recorded achievements, the development programs and prospects of the tax and customs sectors were discussed.
