An Armenian corner will soon be established at the National Library of Iran

Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Hakobyan visited the National Library and Archives of Iran, where he met with the head, Gholamreza Amirkhani, toured the organization, got acquainted with the literary and archival samples, and made a note in the commemorative book intended for honored guests.

During the meeting, the intercultural ties between Armenia and Iran were discussed, particularly cooperation in the fields of ancient manuscripts, the two countries' archives, and national libraries.

An agreement was reached to establish an Armenian corner in the National Library of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the near future, where books dedicated to Armenia's history and cultural heritage will be presented.

Ahead of Book Donation Day in Armenia, Ambassador Hakobyan presented Gholamreza Amirkhani with the book album "Samples of Qajar Art in the Matenadaran" by Ivet Tajaryan, a senior researcher at the Department of Oriental Studies of the Matenadaran.
