The State Revenue Committee has received the European Union expert mission in Armenia to develop a Visa Liberalization Action Plan (VLAP).
The mission aims to assess Armenia's overall preparedness in document protection, border management, and migration and contribute to preparing a Visa Liberalization Action Plan.
The EU partners were presented with the SRC's main strategic directions in customs administration, the reforms implemented in recent years, the challenges, and the development prospects.
Several issues related to the organization of border procedures were also discussed during the meeting.
Within the mission, the EU delegation visited the Bagratashen and Ayrum border checkpoints to learn about the customs authorities' activities on site. It is also planning to visit Zvartnots Airport.
