Representatives of French local governments arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the UNDP and the French Embassy. They visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, accompanied by Olivier Decotigny, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Armenia, and representatives of the UNDP.
The guests from France laid a wreath at the memorial commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, then laid flowers at the eternal flame and observed a minute of silence in honor of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The representatives of French local governments also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum and examined the permanent and temporary exhibitions. Afterward, the delegation members made notes in the guest book of honor.
