The Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia has decided to propose to the National Assembly Council to form an Armenia-Saudi Arabia Friendship Group.
The Chairman of the Committee, Sargis Khandanyan, recalled that diplomatic relations between Armenia and Saudi Arabia were established in November 2023.
Last year, the two states mutually appointed non-resident ambassadors, and most recently, a Saudi Arabia-Armenia Friendship Group was formed in the Consultative Council of the Saudi Arabian Parliament.
