The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs participated in the discussion of the upcoming five-year program of UN activities in Armenia
On January 23, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Ghazaryan participated in a meeting organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UN Office. The meeting discussed Armenia's implementation process within the UN Sustainable Development Partnership for 2021-2025 and the main directions and priorities of Armenia-UN cooperation in the coming five years.
Representatives of other state departments of the Republic of Armenia and UN specialized agencies participated in the meeting.
Armen Ghazaryan highly appreciated the work with UN agencies in the three services subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and touched upon strengthening further cooperation and coordinated work.
He particularly emphasized the importance of capacity development and expert and logistical support.
The meeting featured an active discussion, and state departments of the Republic of Armenia and UN agencies participated.
