"Cooperation with the EU provides a development agenda for RA." Andreasyan

The Ministry of Education and Culture informs that the meeting of the ambassadors of the EU member states with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan took place at the "HayArt" cultural center at the initiative of the European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Vasilis Maragos.

Artur Martirosyan, deputy minister of MESCS, was also present at the meeting.

Reflecting on the successes achieved in the previous year, MESCS minister Zhanna Andreasyan thanked the ambassadors for their essential commitments.

"Our cooperation, joint efforts, and work provide a development agenda for Armenia. We are united by human rights values and living in a more fair and honest world. In this context, education, science, culture, the importance of youth, and sports are where human capital drives development," said the minister.

Emphasizing the directions of cooperation, Zhanna Andreasyan singled out the Armenia-EU joint work implemented and ongoing within the framework of the Education Development Strategy until 2030. The minister also emphasized the importance of cooperation in science and culture, stressing the importance of developing direct ties and strengthening dialogue.

The ambassador of the European Union to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos, also welcomed the attendees. The ambassador emphasized the practical cooperation with Armenia in education, science, culture, sports, and youth, emphasizing the continuity of jointly implemented programs and achievements.
