"Strategic cooperation with the USA will contribute to the deepening and improvement of ties," said Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan, noting that the cooperation will continue.
"The efforts of the American Embassy in Armenia were involved in the establishment and development of many institutions, especially in the prevention of corruption," he noted.
According to Galyan, the signing of a possible bilateral agreement between the USA and Armenia has been discussed for years.
"I think the discussions with the new regime will be continuous; we are discussing legal mutual assistance and a possible extradition agreement."
