On January 14, RA NA Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan received the delegation of the Iran-Armenia friendship group of the IRI Mejlis.
Welcoming the delegation members, Ruben Rubinyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to its thousand-year friendship with Iran.
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the activity of parliamentary friendship groups, considering it a key platform for strengthening relations between the peoples of Armenia and Iran.
Reference was made to the steps taken to establish regional security and peace.
