HTI Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan reports that the RA Ministry of HTI has received 100 percent of Noratus "International Radio Network" shares.
"In the Noratus community of the Gegharkunik region in 1965, a new radio broadcasting station was established. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the new radio broadcasting station was granted the status of a unique purpose state enterprise. Since 2008, the company has appeared in the list of state property to be privatized, but the property was not expropriated due to the lack of a buyer.
Only in 2010, by the government's decision of December 2, was Radio CJSC privatized as a direct sale to EuroPress Group LLC. The sale price was more than AMD 587 million. 2013 Europress Group sold Noratus radio station to International Radio Network CJSC.
Today, the government assigned the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industries the authority to manage 100 percent of the shares of the "International Radio Network" closed joint.
"International Radio Network" CJSC provides short- and medium-wave telecommunication services through its means and the efforts of the company's technical staff. The geographical areas of telecommunication services offered by the company are:
- RA and the entire Transcaucasian region
- The North Caucasus, the southern regions of the Russian Federation
- All of Europe
- The countries of the Near and Middle East, Asia Minor, Latin America, Africa, India, Southeast Asia, China, and Korea.
