This time, we will present the island of Kiribati, Kiritimati, located in the far corner of the Pacific Ocean. This island, known as Christmas Island, welcomes the new year 19 hours earlier.
It is relatively sparsely populated, with only 7,400 inhabitants. Kiritimati is mainly an environmental area, and big and lively celebrations do not occur here.
