RA Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan received Mehdi Sobhani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to RA.
The minister highly appreciated the multi-polar cooperation with friendly Iran, particularly emphasizing the close collaboration between the Ministries of Justice. Referring to the warm relations between Armenia and Iran, the Ambassador of Iran highlighted the continuous improvement of the established practice of providing a joint solution to problems, citing the saying: "When opening the window, along with fresh air, dust also enters," in response to which the Minister of Justice reaffirmed the joint efforts to filter and solve emerging problems quickly.
The meeting discussed a number of issues of mutual interest related to the justice system, including details related to Iranian citizens in prison in our country. At the end of the meeting, the need to organize the second session of the RA-IRI working group on judicial and legal issues to be held in Tehran was reaffirmed.
