Boeing-777 crash in Myanmar (May 21, 2024)

On May 21, 2024, the Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-321ER encountered strong turbulence in the territory of Myanmar. As a result of the accident, one person was killed, and 104 were injured. The plane made a private landing in Bangkok.

Bell-212 helicopter crash in Iran (May 19, 2024)

On May 19, 2024, the Bell-212 helicopter carrying Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and other members of the government crashed on the Iran-Azerbaijani border. The entire crew of the aircraft, including the president and the foreign minister, were killed. The cause of the plane crash was fog.

Dornier-228 crash in Malawi (June 10, 2024)

On June 10, 2024, a Dornier-228 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Malawi crashed due to poor visibility. All passengers, including the country's vice president, Saulos Chilima, died.
