In the US, users can call and chat with an AI chatbot without downloading an app.
This new feature is for those without an internet connection.
However, it has limitations. You can talk for 15 minutes only.
OpenAI also provides a WhatsApp option that allows users to send messages to the bot.
OpenAI has not disclosed whether user data is collected but warns that users must agree to their privacy policy.
In addition, OpenAI competes with Google, Meta, and Elon Musk's xAI, which are developing similar technologies.
