On December 17, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan received the delegation led by Anwar Gargash, Advisor on Diplomatic Affairs of the President of the United Arab Emirates.
Welcoming the delegation members, Ruben Rubinyan noted that the United Arab Emirates is one of Armenia's important and reliable partner countries.
He considered the mutual abolition of the visa requirement for the citizens of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates to be a significant achievement.
Ruben Rubinyan referred to the settlement of Armenia-Turkey relations and the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and also presented the government's "Crossroads of Peace" project.
Both sides highlighted cooperation in the parliamentary format and exchanged ideas on how to further promote cooperation in high technologies, education, trade and economy, tourism, and a number of other fields.
