"We would like the representation of Greek capital to be expanded in RA." Papoyan

The 6th session of the intergovernmental commission on economic, industrial, and scientific-technical cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Greece was held in Yerevan on December 17. RA Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan and Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantinos Frangoyanis were the co-chairs of the commission.

Several issues related to cooperation in economy and investment, trade, industry, development of small and medium enterprises, agriculture, environment and climate change, healthcare, digitalization, new technologies, high technology and science, quality infrastructure, transport, tourism, and other fields were discussed.

"The meetings of the intergovernmental commission between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Greece have become an important platform, where an opportunity is provided to discuss existing issues and identify new areas of cooperation, to develop effective mechanisms to reveal the potential of our countries. In this context, we would like the representation of Greek capital to be expanded in Armenia, which will be mutually beneficial for the economies of our two countries," said Gevorg Papoyan.

As a result of the session, the minutes of the session of the intergovernmental commission were signed.
