"The return of captives is more of a political issue." Yeghishe Kirakosyan, Armenia's representative for international legal affairs, stated in a briefing with journalists that legal bodies could better facilitate the return.
"It can be said that the legal processes more guarantee the provision of legal guarantees to the persons kept there," he said.
According to Kirakosyan, there is no question of withdrawing the lawsuits against Azerbaijan.
