On December 2, at 08:38 local time (at 04:38 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia registered the geographical coordinates of 41.06⁰ north latitude and 44.27⁰ east longitude from the city of Stepanavan, Armenia, 11 km northwest, with a depth of 10 km of the hearth 3.4 magnitude earthquake.
The strength of the underground shock in the epicenter zone was 4-5 points.
The earthquake was felt in Stepanavan, Tashir, and the villages of Metsavan, Katnarat, and Privolnoye of the Lori region with a magnitude of 3-4.
