On November 26 of this year, at 20:50 local time (16:50 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia registered Iran with geographical coordinates of 38.53⁰ north latitude and 46.30⁰ east longitude: 67 km west of Ahar city, 10 km depth of hearth, 4.4 magnitude earthquake.
The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicentral zone was 6. The quake was felt in Goris, Sisian, Meghri, Kapan, Kajaran, and Agarak with a magnitude of 3-4.
