The Ministry of Internal Affairs joins the campaign against gender-based violence
As part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the campaign "16 days of activism against gender-based violence" has been launched in Armenia, the aim of which is to inform the population about gender-based violence and its types, to promote the implementation of measures aimed at the protection of society's interests and the prevention of violence, and the spread of media coverage of the problem. , to strengthen the complementary cooperation of organizations dealing with women's rights and health issues.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also joined the campaign to promote the protection of women's rights and prevent any manifestation of violence.
Within the scope of domestic violence prevention measures, the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes the collaborative work of the police, civil society, and sector specialists, which will allow public awareness to be raised and behavioral changes recorded.
