Armenia submitted an application

Armenia has applied to join the City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) network, which aims to improve access to quality cancer care.

Today, representatives of the Geneva-based foundation visited the Ministry of Health and met with Deputy Minister Artak Jumayan and specialists from the Ministry of Health's responsible departments.

Foundation representatives conduct research, visit medical institutions providing cancer treatment and care services, and study opportunities and challenges in the field.

Based on the results, a memorandum is signed to support the development of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and care projects.
C/Can also supports localizing international cancer treatment guidelines, adapting them to national needs, and developing national guidelines.

Presenting the programs implemented in the field, Deputy Minister Artak Jumayan noted that the Ministry of Health team is ready to actively cooperate so that if the application is approved, the results will be directed to creating new opportunities for quality cancer care.
