Livestock buildings will be built in Gandzakar with the support of the French side

On October 29, RA Deputy Economy Minister Tatevik Sargsyan received the delegation headed by Michel Fournier, president of the "Association of Heads of Rural Communities of France" (AMRF).

The draft "Memorandum of Intentions" discussed the long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between the RA Ministry of Economy and AMRF and the actions envisaged by the memorandum.

According to the document, in particular, the French side plans to support four farmers in the Gandzakar community of Tavush Marz, RA, to build modern cattle sheds in which pedigree animals of world-renowned dairy or dairy breeds will be bred, as well as the construction of a new cooperative cattle shed designed for 30 cows, in which farmers managing a small number of animals will be able to take care of their animals together and receive the result of their milk processing.

Emphasizing this initiative, Tatevik Sargsyan noted that the livestock breeding sector is one of the priority directions of the agricultural industry of the Republic of Armenia. The deputy minister expressed his willingness to support the effective implementation of the project, taking into account the rich experience of the French side in this field.

Tatevik Sargsyan also presented the policy implemented in our country's livestock breeding sector and the state assistance programs that the program's beneficiaries can use.
