The American side will continue to support the reform of the RA Armed Forces

On October 16, during his working visit to the USA, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, met with the Chairman of the Joint Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the United States Armed Forces, General Charles Brown.
Issues of bilateral interest were discussed during the meeting. Both sides noted that Armenia-US cooperation in the field of defense is developing.
The American side noted that it will continue supporting the transformation and reforms of the RA Armed Forces.
The continuity of joint events was discussed and highlighted, and a number of issues related to regional security were also touched upon.
