The first nationwide Science Week was launched in Armenia

With the support of Team Telecom Armenia, the nationwide "Science Week" started today. This is the first time this event has been held in Armenia.

Science Week is a series of multifaceted events for different segments of society. Its purpose is to popularize science and technology, explain their important role in the modern world, and make science attractive to young people.

As part of Science Week, from October 1 to 6, from 15:00 to 21:00, a Science Festival will be held in Liberty Square. This festival will bring together representatives of scientific institutes, universities, educational and technological communities, and, of course, young people and children.

On October 1-2, festival visitors will have the opportunity to discover various fields of science, from cosmology and anthropology to molecular biology, through scientific experiments, meetings with scientists, demonstrations, and discussions.

On October 3-4, professional orientation events for children and young people will be held under the title "Future Scientists." Participants will learn why to become physicists, chemists, biologists, mathematicians, or anthropologists. Young people will meet with scientists who will explain the specifics of their fields and help them orient themselves regarding future professional choices.

October 5-6 will be dedicated to science fiction, which has always inspired scientists and young people, allowing the imagination to become reality. These days, the festival will explore the world of science fiction, from literature to cinema, from comics to painting.

As part of Science Week, the "GitaCon" comics, "Starry Horizon" science fiction stories, and "Science Week—through my Eyes" drawing contests were also organized. Team Telecom Armenia will award the winners special prizes.
