The government approved the draft of the RA President's decree on approving "Amendment No. 1 to the Development Cooperation Grant Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America," signed on September 10, 2024.
According to the proposed amendment, USD 100,000,000 will be provided to Armenia, bringing USAID's total planned contribution to USD 250,000,000, which will be used to continue implementing programs under the agreement and accept the scope of the programs.
Additional financial allocations are planned for key areas such as disaster risk management, cyber security, food and energy security, regional cooperation and trade, democratic processes and inclusive economic development.
