A public council on issues of support for forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh was established under the minister

A public council for the support of forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh was established under the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.

The Council is a consultative body, the chairman of which is RA Minister of Economic and Technological Development, Gnel Sanosyan.

The Council will discuss the projects and decisions related to the forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh by the Government, find out their opinions and approaches, and make the decisions more targeted and need-based. As well as the programs of the Government through the members of the Council to inform and guide the population settled in the Republic of Armenia.

The members of the Council will collect the issues affecting the forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh, which will be included in the agenda of the Council meetings, and the solutions found.

The RA marz heads, the first deputy mayor of Yerevan, and the forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, who were nominated by the mayor of Yerevan and the RA region heads, in close cooperation with the RA community heads, were included in the Council, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive approach to addressing the issues.
