The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that allegedly, on August 18, at around 23:50, the units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the border zone does not correspond to reality.
It should be noted that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia staff proposed creating a joint mechanism between Armenia and Azerbaijan to investigate cases of ceasefire violation and/or information about it.
