RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan received Francoise Jacob, the newly appointed Permanent Coordinator of the United Nations in Armenia and in charge of UN Security Affairs.
Congratulations to Francoise Jacob on her assumption of office; Minister Hovhannisyan highly appreciated the current level of cooperation with UN structures and the UN's support in implementing institutional reforms.
During the meeting, the parties referred to the programs implemented jointly with the RA government, emphasizing their substantive directions and effectiveness evaluation. The perspectives of addressing the needs of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh, financing adaptation to climate change, and cooperation in several other directions were also discussed.
Both parties have expressed readiness to strengthen partnership relations and expand the range of joint initiatives.
