A representative of the Armenian community was attacked in Turkey

Karo Gabrielyan, a well-known representative of the Armenian community, was attacked in the market of Turkey's Kinali Island. According to "Armenpress," "Agos" weekly newspaper reports this.

It is noted that during the attack, discriminatory insults based on nationality were made against Gabrielyan.

Gabrielyan said that as a result of the attack, his finger was broken, and there were marks of blows on his face. The police said they are taking measures, and the case will be sent to the prosecutor's office.

The attack was condemned by the Armenian Church of St. Gedikpasha in Istanbul. The statement says that they condemn this unpleasant and racist attack and wish Gabrielyan a speedy recovery.
