Earthquake on the Armenian-Georgian border

On August 2, at 10:44 a.m. local time (06:44 a.m. GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia registered an earthquake at the geographical coordinates of 41.16⁰ north latitude and 43.98⁰ east longitude on the Armenia-Georgia border zone, 16 km north-east of Bavra village, 10 km deep, 3.0 magnitude earthquake.

The strength of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was 4 points.

The earthquake was felt in Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk, and Musayelyan villages in the Shirak region, with a magnitude of 2-3.
