On July 22, at 12:08 local time (at 08:08 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia recorded a 4.8-magnitude earthquake at the geographical coordinates of 41.44⁰ north latitude and 45.95⁰ east longitude from the city of Gurjani, Georgia: 36 km southeast, 10 km depth of the earthquake.
The strength of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was 6-7 points.
The earthquake was felt in the Tavush region with a magnitude of 5-6, in the cities of Alaverdi and Vanadzor in the Lori region with a magnitude of 4, and in the city of Hrazdan in the Kotayk region with a magnitude of 3.
