The delegation headed by Asian Development Bank (ADB) deputy executive director Lyolein Roberts, accompanied by the head of the project for the construction of the Sisian-Kajaran road section of the North-South road corridor investment project Artur Sanoyan, visited the Syunik region today.
ADB delegates were in the northern part of the North-South Sisian-Kajaran road section, from Sisian to the north portal of the Bargushat tunnel. A 27 km long road will be built in this area. The construction of the building is planned with the involvement of credit funds from the Asian Development Bank, the European Investment Bank, and the RA co-financing.
ADB representatives acquainted themselves with the plans for new and existing roads and their technical parameters. Once again, the military-political and vital importance of the road section for Armenia was documented.
