On July 15, at 10:52 local time (at 06:52 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia recorded an earthquake at the geographical coordinates of 39.27⁰ north latitude and 46.10⁰ east longitude, Armenia-Nakhijevan. The border zone, 14 km north of Kajaran city, is a 3.5 magnitude earthquake at a depth of 10 km.
The strength of the underground shock in the epicenter zone was 4-5 points.
The earthquake was felt in Agarak, Meghri, Kajaran, and Kapan of the Syunik region with a magnitude of 4.
